Every time you defeat a boss, you will proceed to a new environment. Each new Environment contains its own procedurally generated levels, enemies and vaults where you can discover new weapons and scrolls.

Each new level and run provides an opportunity to upgrade your gameplay through the looting of new weapons and scrolls. While new weapons are dropped by enemies, scrolls can be purchased from peddlers, found inside vaults, or by buying, trading or sacrificing health at a Peculiar chest.
